A certain group of Americans lived and thrived in the community, these were the Japanese Americans. This was until something happened, World War II, a war that caused more than battles out of the country but within as well. When the attack on Pearl Harbor from the Japanese, President Roosevelt signed the Executive Order 9066 one month later, declaring the evacuation of 110,000 Japanese Americans.
